About

For Caroline Molloy, sports have always been about more than competition—they’re a powerful platform for connection, mentorship, and faith.

As part of the team with South Coastal Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), Caroline spends her days building relationships with coaches and student-athletes across the Lowcountry. FCA’s mission is to see every coach and athlete come into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church, and Caroline lives that out through campus visits, student gatherings known as “huddles,” and one-on-one discipleship with young athletes navigating the pressures of school, sports, and life.

Her passion for investing in the next generation is deeply personal. Caroline spent much of her twenties battling stage four chronic neurological Lyme disease, enduring 27 surgeries and five years of daily treatment before eventually entering remission. “It was one of the most challenging things I’ve ever had to walk through,” she shares. “Only by the power of God could I have gotten through it.”

That journey not only strengthened her faith but also shaped the compassion and perseverance she now brings to mentoring others. One student she has discipled for several years lost both of her parents at a young age. Watching that young woman remain strong in her faith despite unimaginable hardship has been both inspiring and deeply meaningful to Caroline.

What makes FCA unique is its ability to reach students through something they already love: sports. For Caroline, that connection opens the door to meaningful conversations about identity, perseverance, and faith that extend far beyond the game.

Those who know her describe Caroline as relational, encouraging, and deeply committed to investing in the next generation. By pouring into the lives of young athletes and partnering with coaches across the region, she is helping shape leaders who carry their faith with them both on and off the field.

Through her work with South Coastal FCA, Caroline is helping ensure that the influence of sports becomes an opportunity to point others toward something even greater.
