Richard Barron is the owner of HHI Windows & Doors, a locally owned window and door replacement company serving Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, Beaufort, and nearby Lowcountry communities. In 2024, Richard acquired an established window and door company and rebranded it as HHI Windows & Doors. Building on the company’s existing reputation, he has focused on strengthening customer relationships, elevating product offerings, and delivering quality craftsmanship.

Barron has had a long connection to the Lowcountry. He first visited Hilton Head Island in 1982, and the area left a lasting impression on him. Over time, that connection grew into both a personal and professional commitment to the community.

Before entering the home improvement industry, Barron spent more than thirty years in Division I college athletics. He worked as a basketball coach at several universities, including Princeton, Baylor, NC State, and the University of Maine. His experience leading teams and building strong relationships helped shape the leadership style he brings to his company.

Today, HHI Windows & Doors focuses on replacement windows and doors designed to perform well in coastal climates. The company works with homeowners to select products that improve energy efficiency, durability, and the overall appearance of their homes.
