I set up this blog to share interior design, travel and lifestyle inspiration for simple, relaxed living at home and beyond. You’ll find home tours, advice and tips, interviews, reviews, postcards from places I love and more – always with a focus on minimalism, muted colours and timeless, considered design.

With a mission rooted in both compassion and connection, her approach is simple: “Fun and friendly family care. Primary care for life.”

For Tricia, healthcare is about more than treating symptoms. It is about creating an environment where people feel comfortable, heard, and empowered in their health journey. “I want to take away the anxiety of going to the doctor and bring back joy in taking care of yourself and your loved ones,” she shares. That mindset has shaped every part of her practice, from the warm greetings at the front desk to the intentional, unhurried conversations with patients.

Her philosophy centers on proactive care and meaningful relationships. “Primary care is not all about prescribing medications; people want to be listened to and heard,” Tricia explains. She takes pride in walking alongside her patients, developing care plans together, and celebrating their progress, whether that is improved health, a better quality of life, or even reducing medications over time.

What truly sets Lowcountry Family Care apart is its personal touch. Patients are treated like family, not numbers, and every interaction matters. “We want our patients to be well taken care of… wherever they might find themselves in their healthcare journey,” she says. Tricia’s journey has not been without challenges, but her faith and perseverance have guided her every step of the way. “God continues to guide me, bless me, and provide for me through it,” she reflects.

At its heart, her practice is about more than medicine. It is about creating a space filled with “joy, love, peace, kindness, and hope,” where every patient leaves a little brighter and healthier than when they arrived.
